SEPTEMBER 13, 2008 - UNC's Finley Golf Course

The Carolina Wrestling Club is happy to announce that 2008's Friends of Carolina Wrestling Golf Classic will be held on Saturday, September 13th at UNC's Finley Golf Course, a Tom Fazio design. The CWC has the course to itself for the entire day, including the driving range. The tournament concludes with an awards ceremony, introduction to the 2008-2009 UNC Wrestling team, and dinner.

The Friends of Carolina Wrestlng Golf Classic will not only serve as an alumni reunion and parent weekend, but will also become the club's number one fundraiser, and help achieve the goal of pushing UNC towards the top of college wrestling's elite. The support received in our inaugural year was incredible and we fully expect to sell out this year. We are capped at 120 golfers and last year we had 112 so make sure you sign up early!

• Funds additional coaches for the UNC and club teams
• Pays for post-season travel for the UNC team
• Will help develop Cadet/Freestyle Nationals (Fargo) subsidy program for qualified club members
